Attention Caregivers - You're Not Alone
Colleen Ceh and Barbara White will discuss the challenges and questions dominating the lives of caregivers at the Women in Management Fox Valley (WIM) meeting on Thursday, April 10, 2014. An informal panel discussion will be held regarding the questions most prominent on caregivers’ minds, including: how do I find the appropriate housing; are there tax benefits for a family caregiver; what legal documents should be in place; and how do we pay for the care?
Ceh is a Gerontologist and the Elder Care Coordinator for Strohschein Law Group in St. Charles, Illinois. She specializes in advocacy for older adults. Her enthusiasm and composed nature along with her steadfast ethic provides clients and families with the resources and support they need to navigate through the inevitable challenges that often accompany caring for a loved one. She willingly shares her knowledge and expertise of the aging network through public speaking, sponsorship opportunities, and good old-fashioned conversation.
White, owner of BMW MoneyWorks in Elgin, is an accredited Certified Financial Planner® who successfully transitioned to the financial services industry and personal financial planning in 1997.
